Please note that due to the weather, we have had to postpone the event of the year until TOMORROW - Thursday, June 27th. VOLUNTEER:   We have  lots of spots  for adults, and kids (grade 7 and up) and we need them filled!  FACE PAINTING  particularly needs some student volunteers!  This is a great opportunity for high schoolers to snag some volunteer hours. The Fern Running Club has officially ended for the year.  Thank you to all the families who came out each week.  It was wonderful to see all the runners both younger and older.  We hope you continue to go running throughout the summer. Mme Miya and Mrs. Heller

Fern’s biggest party of the year is coming up  on WEDNESDAY JUNE 26 from 5-8:30pm  in the school yard This is the big one friends!  We need a village to get this off the ground. We need helpers for everything from face paint to games, BBQ to cake competition, set-up to clean-up. We also need your treats for the bake sale, your pre-loved stuffies   and toys for prizes AND we’re bringing back Mystery Bags, too! FERNAPALOOZA  is coming in hot on June 26 (5-8:30pm) - and we have some updates to get the fun going early! CALL FOR  PRIZES AND SPIRIT WEAR DONATIONS! We are looking for used, good condition stuffies, books, small toys, Pokemon cards in batches of 10, etc. to use as prizes at the Fun Fair! We are also looking for any vintage/preloved Fern Falcons spirit wear -  if you have outgrown your Fern spirit wear, gift it to us and we will find it a new home! Please  wash  any clothes and stuffies, and drop off donations in the bins in front of 105 Wright Avenue, on the porch at 91 Wright Avenue, or in front of the office at the school between  Thursday, June 13 and Monday, June 24. C REATE A CAKE FOR THE CAKE-OFF!  Get out your favourite cake recipe and decorations and vie for the title of Fern Cake-Off Champion! Prizes will be awarded for best cake in each of the following categories: Best Cake by a Kindergartener, by a Primary Student, by a Junior Student, by a Senior Student, Best Parent-

It's time to showcase your culinary skills and creativity as you compete for the title of Fern Cake-Off Champion! Bring your favorite cake recipes and put your frosting, decorating, and flavouring techniques to the test.  Whether you're a seasoned baker or a novice in the kitchen, this competition is open to all ages and skill levels. Gather your friends, family, and fellow cake lovers to cheer you on as you demonstrate your baking prowess. Not only will you have the chance to win a fantastic prize , but you'll also earn the admiration of the entire school community!  Join us at Fernapalooza on  Wednesday, June 26 between 5-7 pm  and prepare to be amazed by the incredible array of delicious creations on display.
