That Time We Raised $25k in Two Weeks...
Congratulations Fern community!
Together, you have contributed close to $25k to our Playground Fund in the last two weeks. We now have close to $185k to put towards our Playground!
We are waiting to finalize the details of another large contribution, and will advise our final total as soon as we can.
On behalf of all of us on School Council, thank you so much! Whether you donated funds, or donated time into one of our fundraisers, we are incredibly grateful for your contribution.
To be truthful, we have poured our blood, sweat and tears into the Playground Revitalization. It has been many hours of work. Sometimes it seemed like the light at the end of the tunnel was dim, but it is gratifying to see the generous response from our school community.
If this note reminds you that you wanted to donate to the Playground Revitalization but haven't yet, don’t worry, we are still accepting your donations!
We have given the TDSB our estimated number, but we can still accept donations to the Playground for the month of October while we are waiting to sort out the tendering process details. You can either donate on School Cash Online, or by cheque to Fern Avenue Public School.
