There will be a talent show showcasing the Fern Senior Students. Sign Up:  Tuesday, May 30th to Wednesday, June 7th Auditions are to be held on Monday, June 12th, Wednesday, June 14th and Thursday, June 15th  in the auditorium between 12 noon and 12:35 PM. The Talent Show will take place on Wednesday, June 28th in the auditorium, during the afternoon. Please note the talent show is for grade 7 & 8 students only. Thank you.

Dear Parents and Guardians,  Dragonboat is cancelled for this Tuesday, May 30, 2017, due to unsafe water levels at the Sunnyside Rowing club. We are trying to relocate to the Toronto Argo rowing club for our full day event this Thursday. More info to follow once we get confirmation from the club.   Bogdan Nikolajevic

Friday, June 2, 2017. 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Fern Auditorium Performers: Kestrals Choir, Junior and Senior Band and Junior and Senior Strings We invite all Fern families to join us. This is also an opportunity for families considering any of these programs to check them out.

Parents and students, we need your help Saturday, June 10 at Fern's annual Fun Fair. Without you, a lot of the games and activities will not happen! This is a fully parent-run event that provides a fun-filled day (10 am - 3 pm) for kids and parents in our wonderful community. We've made sign up very easy and all in one place. Don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity to hear internationally renowned researcher, author and educator Dr. Shanker speak at Fern. P.S, coming up Tuesday, May 30 at 6:30! He will be talking to parents and educators about self-regulation in children and teaching adults to see children through the lens of self-regulation rather than bad behaviour and thus how to better manage stress. Educators, parents, and human-behaviour-enthusiasts are ALL welcome! (There is a nominal $5 charge at the door). Childcare also available. Please indicate your needs when you RSVP. Junior FUN DAY is coming to Fern on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. There will be 7 fun stations to take part in. Please have the students bring water, running shoes, and extra clothes. Thank you, Student Council

Dear Fern Parents and Community, We are very proud to announce that the 2017 Spring Fling was a HUGE success. Together we raised 20,000 dollars for the school! So if you ever wondered if your basket item or small cash donation was worth it, we can tell you it definitely was. We took those contributions and location, bar and theme and turned them into a 20 thousand dollar event. Without the auction part of our party we would not have come close to raising this kind of money. So thank you for your donations and believing in this event. Thank you to the many volunteers who helped make this event happen, our friends and family and to all our local businesses who supported us and to everyone who came out and danced, drank, shopped and looked fabulous!
