Trash Theatre

The Arts ‎Collective brought Trash Theatre to Fern all last week to work with two primary classes.

Two senior classes collaborated and assisted the students in designing, selecting and reusing a variety of materials to make props, costumes and masks for their performance. Trash Theatre also worked with four other classes to prepare masks that were worn in the audience using the same creative process. The students presented in a free and open form on stage and the messages about the environment, life cycles and human impact were made explicit and were a part of the integrated learning from the artists.
