Congrats Junior House League Dodgeball Superheroes!

If you happened to hear a lot of talk about superheroes in the past two months it was quickly
brought to your attention that it had to do with the superhero teams battling it out in one of
the many dodgeball games at the school’s gym. The dodgeball house league has been a huge annual sporting event at Fern Avenue public school with over 90 of our junior students playing this year. It was a great extracurricular for our students to exercise, practice their skills of throwing, catching, and dodging, and most importantly to have fun and socialize with friends and other students at school!

Raising the gold cup with teammates in a commemorative picture was the prize in the final game between the superheroes teams. And yet, this was as big of a prize as it gets for our heroes in the final dodgeball game played between the Avengers and Titans teams.

The game itself was one of the most memorable ones ever as the lead changed many
times and a tiebreaker was needed to finally have the Avengers nominated as the league’s
finals champions. Celebrations from the superhero team overtook the moment of the last play, and congratulations among players from both teams followed this amazing game of dodgeball!

Thanks to everyone participating and supervising teachers for a great extracurricular!!
