This special day was first celebrated when two students noticed a classmate who was being bullied for wearing a pink shirt. They encouraged all of their classmates to wear pink as well and make their high school a safe space for all identities.
On Wednesday, April 10th , Fern will recognize International Day of Pink and encourage all students and staff to wear a pink shirt, or a touch of pink.
