International Walk to School Month

During the month of October, TDSB schools are encouraged to join others across the globe in participating in International Walk to School Month- an annual celebration of active transportation.

International Walk to School Day is held on the first Wednesday of October each year and will be occurring on October 2nd, 2019. Ideas and resources to plan and promote a walk to school event can be accessed by visiting http://ontarioactiveschooltravel.ca/international-walk-to-school-month/.

Schools that register a walk to school event with Ontario Active School Travel will be eligible to receive a certificate of participation.
